Manic Meeples is a chess-inspired (but HEAVILY modified) deck builder rogue-like! You'll start a run with just 3 measly pawns, but as your run progresses, you'll encounter MANY different pieces that all have unique quirks and skills! You can add these pieces to your team, but there will also be many other evil pieces trying to stop you as well...
Currently, there is only 1 area, but every run will be unique from all other runs. This is a demo, so if you end up playing, then let us know what you think of it! Stay tuned for the full game!

Install instructions
After you download the zip file, go into it the zip and extract the application file. Then, run the extracted application file.

The only thing we can think of is a preview of the pieces movements and attack pattern before placing them. Either on their info card or having it show on the board before you to place the piece having a preview of it shifting between the attack and movement patterns. Other than that it's a great demo that gives the player enough content to feel how the full game might be.
Thanks for the advice! That's something I was planning on doing for a while, I could just never figure out a good way to implement it. I'm working on some ideas, though, will be in the full version. Thanks again for playing it :>
